certain information from HIVE is trickier than others - in this post he mentions that he must run a separate and specific database to make this happen. one of the things I notice is that many users do not understand when a thing is hard or easy, or what makes it hard or easy. All of this is good discussion, but the fact that we have a thing back again might not indicate that the system is broken in the way you are implying.
