It doesn't always work out

I have a few dozen things on my mind. Lots of stuff going on, and 17 Californians are coming to our farm tomorrow. Let's see how it goes 😬 Pictures coming on Friday probably.

But there is something that I want to get off my chest, by saying it out loud on my blog maybe I can get it out off my head. We are not working in a vaccuum, there are other people out there, and they are doing things.

HUG vs HUGS

You may have seen that @hannes-stoffel has created the HUG token. Its one of those !HUG things that are free to give away, which are fun but silly and definitely not an investment. Also at least 7 of this exist already (nearly) exactly the same.

What you may have not known is that on behalf of @snook (my mother), I created the HUGS token many months ago. For several months we have been discussing the operation, what could make the token unique, what code we could use - and when I say we - it was at least 7 people, not including my mother.

So maybe I should start by saying that she is quite upset by this perceived usurpation.

I listened to several of my mother's advisors, and put together a proposal that I thought would be unique and moderately easy to set up with the code we had. There were some other ideas, discussion continued.

We reviewed 3 different basic models, plus a number of possible modifications. In that time, !HUG was born.

You might read this, I am not sure if its as obvious to you as it is to me that a. this is not a financial token (you will lose money) and b. the price will forever go down. That doesn't mean HUG doesn't have aesthetic value, I'm not an expert on that, but I probably would smile if someone gave me a !HUG. Its a good brand.

With 4 year old tokenomics and a price trajectory directly to zero.

There is a reason !PIMP has huge tiers and assets backing. Giving away free tokens is not a financial roadmap (unless you do other stuff).
