A journey into the heart of the fern - My entry for the #monomad challenge
Sometimes, to truly appreciate nature, we don't need to look at a whole landscape; we just need to get closer and lose ourselves in the details. I want to show you a journey into the heart of a fern, starting from the outside and slowly moving into its inner world.
Everything begins at the tips of the leaves, where geometric shapes repeat over and over again. As we get closer, we can notice how the light plays with the small leaves, creating textures that look hand-drawn.
If we follow the path towards the center, the leaves begin to cluster together, forming a kind of green net that protects what is inside. It is a beautiful chaos, perfectly organized at the same time.
But the real treasure is hidden deep within. At the end of that labyrinth of leaves, we find a small spiral shoot, curled up on itself. It looks like a little secret being kept, waiting for the exact moment to unfold and keep growing. And right there, at the base where that spiral is born, is the origin of all that vital force.
Sometimes we forget that nature is the most incredible artist. We just have to stop and dare to look closely.
