@dmhafiz, @chrisrice and @savvyplayer, we have notification service running for almost 4 years now which sends push notification to our mobile app users. Now that we are developing our full fledged website as well, we are connecting all our services into all our apps. Other front-ends likely using hivemind notifications which was introduced year ago with communities, it is embedded into hivemind which all apps can connect to but it lacks flexibility and configurability and instant push notifications which is crucial for our apps. For example, on Ecency.com you can get push notification right in your browser, even if you are surfing on other tabs and website, if you have one tab open with Ecency.com, you will know when there is notification because you get in-browser notification. Same with mobile app which is natural requirement for any social media apps.

As for points, yes it is centralized database Points, we named it points for a reason, when we launch ECEN token, that will be decentralized and that will work in synergy with Points you are already earning. So Points will give us perfect base for distribution of ECEN token.
