We have pushed a fix yesterday perhaps there is misunderstanding. When you open your draft and save it while you are in new editor then there won’t be any html codes saved to draft. If you want to have html codes in your post, you can switch to classic editor, make a change and save, when you load back draft it opens in new editor by default without making a change switch to classic editor it should keep all html intact.
