Hi @gamer00, thanks for the screenshot, it made this easy to track down. It's a bug on our side, not something you did.

The new editor fills in the short description automatically, but only once: the moment the post body stops being empty. When you type a post, that moment is the first letter, so you get "L" and "I". The new editor repairs a one letter description when you press Continue. If you switch to the classic editor before that, the frozen value is carried over into Advanced > Short description and published as it is. Your earlier posts went through the same path, but their text arrived in one go, so the description happened to look fine.

One quick question so we can confirm the exact path: for Igor and Vibe coding posts, did you switch over with "Back to Classic Editor" while writing, or did you open a saved draft in the classic editor?

To fix both posts: edit each one in the classic editor, open Advanced, clear the Short description field and update. With the field empty, Ecency generates the description from the full post.

Until the fix is live: before publishing from the classic editor, open Advanced and clear Short description. Or press Continue once in the new editor before you switch.
