January.
The year commenced with the introduction of a new video upload feature on the app, along with the translation of Waves. Additionally, we provided numerous tutorials to help users navigate the features of Ecency.

In February, we implemented significant changes regarding our boosting options. We phased out the previous boosting feature and replaced it with the enhanced Boosting+ option, which offers more engaging ways to utilize your Ecency points. The app update introduced the Boost+ feature for users interested in receiving delegation from Ecency.

The next update was the introduction of Conversations Encrypted private chats, marking a significant advancement in communication within the Web3 space. Additionally, in March, we announced a new Perks Page on Ecency.com, designed to help you explore various opportunities to utilize your points.

In July, we introduced exciting updates on both Ecency.com and the Ecency App, including a new Polls feature designed to enhance engagement with your posts. We also continued to improve the conversation experience with each update.

The primary focus of the next update was to streamline wallet loading and fetching balances. The wallet processor has been transitioned from the previous method of multiple API calls to a more efficient single portfolio endpoint.

As of October 2024, we have been focused on fully migrating our website codebase from the old framework to a more modern one. Additionally, we have implemented new features in the app to facilitate easier wallet loading.

November.
In November, we shared exciting updates regarding our website, including a complete overhaul of our codebase. We have transitioned from the outdated RazzleJS framework to the more modern Next.js framework. This transition has allowed us to implement substantial improvements that will enhance the Ecency experience, offering greater configurability and elevating our platform to new heights.

December was quite interesting and busy month with our annual Advent Calendar that made us more engaging with Hive and Ecency points rewards and spread Christmas mood.
