To close out our 4.4.0 series, here are the improvements that make Ecency easier to talk on, search through, and explore.
The channel and direct message list is modernized with cleaner, borderless rows.
The sidebar menu is easier to find and now themes correctly in both dark and light mode.
Reply previews now quote the right message instead of themselves.
The thread panel shows the full conversation, not just the part that happened to be loaded.
Search now defaults to Relevance across all time, so you find the best match for what you are looking for, not just the most recent post. When you are hunting for that one great article, this makes a real difference.
A new Spotlight widget surfaces featured content right in your feed.
Top tag hub pages are now included in our sitemap, making more of Hive easier to find from search engines.
Followers and following now open as full pages with their own sections, instead of cramped pop-up modals. Much easier to browse and explore who is who.
We repaired language detection so posts that start with an emoji now translate correctly. A tiny thing that quietly improves reading across languages.
That wraps our walkthrough of Ecency 4.4.0. More than 100 improvements, all aimed at making Ecency faster, friendlier, and safer.
Huge thanks to everyone who reported bugs, suggested ideas, and tested along the way. This release is yours as much as ours.
If Ecency adds value to your day, please consider supporting our proposal so we can keep building. And as always, keep the feedback coming.
