A smarter, safer wallet: Ecency Mobile 3.5.7

We're rolling out Ecency Mobile 3.5.7 and this deep dive is all about your wallet: scheduled and recurring transfers, recipient favorites, QR-to-recipient, exchange-aware warnings, sharper amounts, Hive Engine token fixes and Points-funded RC top-ups.

What's new

Set it once, send on schedule

Sending the same transfer over and over is now a thing of the past. The Transfer screen has a new Schedule control so your payments can run themselves.

One Time, Daily, Weekly, Monthly. Pick how often a transfer should repeat right from the schedule header. Daily runs every 24 hours, Weekly every 168 hours and Monthly every 731 hours. If a schedule was created elsewhere with an unusual interval, it shows clearly as "Custom (Nh)" so you always know what is set.
Smart autofill. Choose a recipient who already has an on-chain schedule and the app fills in their existing setup for you, so you do not have to remember the details.
Recurring transfers in your history. Your wallet history now shows the full picture. A setup row reads "{executions} transfers, each every {hours} hours" and each scheduled run is labeled "Recurrent Transfer Occurred" with a remaining-transfers count and an autorenew icon, so you can track exactly where a recurring transfer stands.
Cancelling actually cancels. We fixed recurring transfer cancellation so it lands on-chain properly. Tap to unsubscribe, confirm with "Unsubscribe recurrent transfer to {username}?" and you will see "Recurrent transfer deleted successfully". No more schedules that linger after you tried to stop them.

Faster, friendlier recipients

Picking who you send to is quicker and less error-prone.

Recipient favorites. Save the people you send to often and pull them up with "Choose recipient from favorites" instead of retyping a username every time.
Scan a QR code. Use "Scan a QR code for the recipient" to fill in a recipient instantly. We only pull a username from genuine payment QR codes and if a code does not contain one you will see "Could not find a username in this QR code" rather than a wrong entry.

Safer sends to exchanges

When you send to a known exchange account, a misplaced memo can cost you. So we added clear, timely warnings.

Memo reminders. Send to one of the recognized exchange deposit accounts and the screen reminds you that a memo is required, warning that "Without the exchange-provided memo your funds may be lost".
No recurring transfers to exchanges. Exchange deposits and recurring schedules do not mix, so the app flags that a recurring transfer to an exchange may be lost and suggests you use a one-time transfer instead.

Top up Resource Credits with Points

Low on Resource Credits at the worst moment? There is now a fix built right into Perks.

Top up RC. A new Redeem option, "Top up RC", lets you keep posting when low on Resource Credits. Spend Points for a short-term RC boost so posting and voting do not stall. A slider picks how many days of RC coverage you want, with the price shown in Points and you confirm with "Spend Points to top up your Resource Credits?".
No Points? No problem. If you do not have enough Points, the app shows "You do not have enough Points" alongside an always-visible "Buy Points" button. It opens the in-app purchase, then brings you right back to finish your top-up.

Fixes & polish

A few smaller wins that make the wallet feel solid every time.

Precise amounts everywhere. Transfer amounts are now normalized to each asset's precision across every signing path, so an over-precise amount no longer gets rejected by the chain.
Hive Engine token transfers unblocked. We fixed Hive Engine token transfers that could get stuck behind a disabled Next button. The app now reads the correct token precision, truncates the broadcast quantity correctly on every sign-in type and shows a Retry option instead of a blank wallet if an Engine read briefly fails.
