Parts of Oprah Winfrey's address at the Golden Globes certainly sounded like a campaign speech. The reaction was immediate - thousands of people taking to social media to voice their support for an Oprah Winfrey Presidency:

Oprah has always been much more than a mere television host. Dubbed the Queen of all Media she's also a businesswoman, actress, producer and philanthropist - a leadership academy for young women in South Africa, just one of her charitable organisations.
In 2013 Barack Obama presented her with the Presidential medal of honour.
The ceremony was at the White House, the place many of her supporters would like her to see her in residence in 3 years time.
