DAARIO NAHARIS: In Season 3, the role of Daenerys's lover was played by Ed Skrein. Starting in Season 4, this role was played by Michiel Huisman. Skrein's departure from the series was due to his work on the film "The Transporter: Reloaded."

THREE-EYED RAVEN: The role of the Three-Eyed Raven was originally played by Struan Rodger, but we never saw him up close. In season five, the role was taken by Academy Award nominee Max von Sydow, which greatly excited fans.
