Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi(2 October 1869 – 30 January 1948) was the preeminent leader of the Indian independence movement in British-ruled India. Gandhi led India to independence and inspired movements for civil rights and freedom across the world.
I learnt a lot from doing this piece and from the study of Gandhi as a person.
Some of his quotes:
"Live as if you were to die tomorrow; learn as if you were to live forever".
"An eye for eye only ends up making the whole world blind".
"Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes"
