Hello Steemians, I'm Ebaouen from Morocco [North West Africa]. I'm a 24 years old journalist who finally decided to embrace the Web 3.0 since a friend of mine won't stop nagging me about it. I'm grateful though, promise.
Morocco is one of the countries who sadly decided to ban cryptocurrency and any kind of block-chain technology. The news wasn't much of a surprise to the crypto-community here in Morocco, as my dear country is known of banning stuff it doesn't comprehend. Example: dildos, drones, atheism, evolutionary theory, homosexuality, freedom ..
Anyhow, as someone with enough common sense, a healthy does of self-importance and a knack of getting into trouble, I decided to forsake Facebook and immigrate to Steemit to unleash my rage against the system. Joking, well half-joking, I do plan to tackle some issues I deem as necessary to talk about, on various topics.
The other reason I've decided to switch to Steemit is my grand fascination with block-chain technology. I see it as the main economic and technological revolution of our time and I feel not just the desire but also the need to learn more about it, and eventually share my humble knowledge with others.
Overall, I am an avid learner with a focus on feminism, politics, theology and business. And that's roughly it!
