It's not right that the people hurt most by Axie's security problems are normal, often low-income, mostly SEA people.

South East Asians are already dirt poor, already can't trust their government, their businesses and their own neighbors. Now, this? Crypto it seems to them now was just all a major rugpull.

Why is it that the people hurt most are the people who crypto can help the most? The common human? It's sad and messed up.

It convinces me there are forces at play, state-level actors actually, who have the resources to research vulnerabilities and exploit them. These criminals work for big criminals who can't let normal people make any money because it would hurt their bottom-line.

I don't see these increasing hacks as being done by one-off bad actors. There's just too many of them and too precisely timed. There are major inevstments being put into researching blockchain vulnerabilities...
