I think the thing that's different now is that China is different than it was in 2008 at the start of now-President Xi's ascendancy.

I think there is violent factionalism in China that is reaching disruptive points to the overall stability of the country. There are countries around the world standing up to the CCP and to Xi specifically. Other factions clamor for Xi's place, he's seen as a mad tyrant princeling drunk with power by the other half of the politburo.

The collapse of Evergrande this past year is one of the last dominoes that can fall before entire real estate collapse happens in China. The fact that few media stations talk about China anymore after it was proven that COVID was a lab leak and that China obfuscated evidence along with Eco Health Alliance that links sarscov2 to the studied viruses they have is speaking volumes to those listening. We're in a dark novel still playing itself out. We need to find Sapan Desai and investigate why he pulled his intial data and who told him to do it. We know that large "science" organizations like the Lancet are compromised. We know this all ties back into debt and keeping the ball going, creating something out of nothing. Alchemy.
