I can get behind that idea!

I just like those books because they're entertaining but also, I think, kinda prophetic. I don't know what life trips Neil Stephenson has taken that gave him that kind of mind but his insights I think are profound.

Basically, there will be a corprortization of the world. There will be nation-states still, but they will be franchized and spun off. Education will happen through VR/AR on tablets and wars will be waged in web 3 with each nation-state programmed with nano-bots in their airspaces to instantly hone in and kill anybody who hasn't been vaccinated with the chosen inoculant of that particular neoclave.

oh, and the pizza delivery drivers of the future will carry automatic weapons and katanas because that just is obvious and necessary.
