Getting Started

As the game is run entirely from discord, you will need to join the Aphelium discord server
Then, head over to the Aphelium website you must login using with your discord username.
After logging in, you can link your WAX wallet to the website. This is needed if you own NFT's like land etc, it is also needed if you want to withdraw(mint) any NFT's from discord and the game or if you want to add (burn) any NFT's into the game for usage. NB do not burn your land or badge NFT's those are staked on the main website If you are ever not sure, first ask in the discord server which NFT's need to be burned and which are staked

Gameplay

Aphelium gameplay is all done inside specific channels within discord, there is a play-here channel for game commands, a market channel to buy and sell items, and a astronaut-events channel for community boss events.

Commands:

/work: The cornerstone of your journey, /work allows you to spend energy in exchange for AP, the primary currency of Aphelium, and to gather some essential resources from the land you worked.
/explore: Venture into the unknown with the /explore command, utilizing your energy for a larger amount of resources, these are essential for crafting, trading, and advancing your journey in Aphelium.
/wander: When the weight of the cosmos bears down upon you, take a moment to /wander and replenish your willpower. Find solace in the serene beauty of the cosmos as you prepare for the challenges that lie ahead.
/consume: Sustain yourself amidst the rigors of space travel by indulging in the /consume command. Eat food to replenish your energy reserves and keep your cosmic journey on track.
/profile: Curious about your astronaut's progress? Use the /profile command to see detailed information like energy remaining, reputation, will power and how much xp you have.
/sleep: Every adventurer needs their rest, and in Aphelium, rest comes in the form of the /sleep command. Drift into the realm of dreams and awaken refreshed, ready to tackle the challenges of the cosmos with renewed vigor. If you sleep in a bed, your astronaut might even have some pleasant and rewarding dreams.

Community

Discord serves as the central nexus of Aphelium's community, providing a way for players to interact, collaborate on events, and compete against each other solving chappie games. Discord is where the magic happens in Aphelium.

Earnings

This is the section I know most people in the crypto space are interested in, here are several ways to make money


Seasonal Leaderboard	This rewards the top 30 players, and 0th (40,50,60...) positions a share of the prize money Season 3 tournament for a breakdown of $ and NFT prizes
Crafting and selling NFT's	If you have a land you can craft and sell NFT's to other people
Social aspects (Zealy tasks)	Zealy is a website, where the team posts challenges to grow the game (tweets, discord activity) this rewards you with sticker NFT's, these are in high demand.
Discord xp to AFG	AFG is another currency in Aphelium, it is tied to your discord level and can be spent buying NFT's (which you can use or sell)
Extra events	There are always extra ways to win prizes in aphelium, these include joining developers on their stream, twitter giveaways, wax blockchain community colab giveaways, recruitment events recruitment events happen almost every season, if you join from my article, let us know in discord and you will be added to a newbie leaderboard ;)
