One of the best things you can do with your money is to invest back into it. What do I mean by this? Well, I’m sure you’ve heard of the term ‘compound interest’ which means re-investing any profit or returns you gain from your initial investment.
But why would you re-invest your profits, isn’t the purpose of investing so that you can enjoy the profits?
That is true because otherwise it would be like giving money away. In this instance though we’re assuming that we’re trying to build a bigger and more sustainable income. Re-investing your returns ensures that your initial investment is growing and that it will pay off bigger returns every time that you do.
There are many things other than money you could invest in – a business or any other worthy cause. The reason why it is probably best to invest in money is because money never sleeps, it is always working 24/7 day in and day out. You don’t have to pay it for its services, you just have to let it do what it does best. The best way to do that is not keeping it in your wallet where it sleeps all day and loses value each day it’s in there (through inflation).
Invest your money so that it can defend its self against inflation at a rate where it even makes a profit for you. Although money is an inanimate object it sure knows how to make more babies. So give your money the opportunities that it needs and it will thank you handsomely for having done so.
How and where you invest your money is up to you and should be governed by how much risk you’re willing to take with it and what returns you expect to make on such an investment. Some investments are more reliable than others as I’m sure you can imagine. You might want an investment where you will be assisting in ensuring that it pays off for you, this could be in starting your own business and managing it or taking lessons to improve your own ability to make money.
You might as well choose an investment where your money does all the work and you just have to wait for the returns. This can be done through fixed deposits with your bank where you earn a fixed return on your investments. You could invest through a trusted brokerage to almost guarantee a return and pay a fee for their services.
My personal favorite though is buying assets that I know will generate profits in the future. These are things such as property, stocks or shares in a company. For example, by owning Steem I have bought a share on the Steem platform and if it perfoms well and gains value then my Steem will be worth more. The great thing about Steem for me is that you can also invest it by buying Steem power on the Steemit platform and create more Steem at no extra charge by contributing to the Steemit platform.
On a final note I would like to advise that you compound your Steem Power and be invested to the platform for the long term - Your future you will thank you.
I hope you enjoyed this post and that it was of help to you...
