HI STEEMIANS,

Today I want to talk to you about transportation in Venezuela, we all know the calamities we are living in my country every day is a different struggle.

Although we have various methods of transport, none is efficient, surely because of the lack of investment in either the private or public sector, the truth is that every time we need to move from one place to another it is a lottery.

On the other hand the caracas subway in the beginning was an excellent proposal, but nowadays it is just a headache, sometimes you don't know if you are in a boulevard or in the subway facilities, this is not only because of the peddlers but also because of the amount of thieves that go through both the platforms and the cars.

Inside the subway there is no peace of mind, we must be alert because at any time you can be stripped of your belongings or you stay halfway through your journey since due to lack of maintenance in the facilities these trains do not work properly.

In another order of ideas the superficial transport does not escape of this reality the difference is that being outdoors you can spend 2 hours in a queue in the main avenue but you can be distracted seeing how they rob the person who is out of the unit, although this does not necessarily have to happen you can see the stores from the window or the people walking motivated to what they do not exist sufficient units to supply the demand of transport.

That is to say, whatever your way of getting around the city, you will have a problem, because if it is a personal vehicle, the queues will not forgive you for anything. The risk of being robbed is less, but it does exist. 2.jpg

Anyway, as I told you in previous publications, living in my country is difficult but we always have a way of seeing the glass as half full and we enjoy our life and days in the best way.
