My journey with Splinterlands so far has been an exciting one full of highs and lows. After 1 year of playing, I can certainly say that this game has been one of the best I have ever played, it has a simple game mechanics yet a very complex tokenomics system. There are so many choices to be made from, just choosing which token to hold from DEC against SPS, to speculating which cards will appreciate in value.
Currently, I have put in a significant amount of money into the game, not really sure but probably still in the red as I bought a lot of cards during the boom a year ago. Bought SPS when it was at 60 cents, bought DEC when it was at 0.015. Oh well, charge to experience. Wish I had the funds to buy a Node License, but sadly I don't. Someday perhaps...
I haven't hit my first Legendary Gold Foil from the rewards, haven't gotten an insane amount of DEC or SPS from the rewards either. Still waiting and waiting and waiting...
Just keep on playing and lets all enjoy the ride.
