Kelok 44 is the curve found in Agam District of West Sumatra. Kelok 44 is a hilly area located on top of Lake Maninjau which is circled a road that curves its slope.
Curved 44 is a curve of 44 curves. That is why this route is called Kelok Ampek Puluh Ampek. Every turn is broken. Each of the twists was numbered sequentially. Throughout the journey from the high hill to the lake, the tourists will disuguhin very beautiful scenery of rice-shaped terraces, water fountains from the river terraced, and green row of Bukit Barisan. Kelok 44 is also an icon in the Tour de Singkarak cycling race.
