This post by you is interesting. It spurred me to look into somethings further and maybe share somethings I have been keeping an eye on.
First off, I figured I would share this link about the UN and how they want to help individuals from having their human rights violated. Don't think for one min I am trying push UN propaganda or anything else but just sharing an interesting article full of double speak and weird statements in which some are reflective of HIVE, the social media that is on top of our first layer wallets but not in regards to how we actually own our wallets/account. Gotta love how the article ends after it seemed somewhat positive...
Hicks underscored the "critical importance of adopting human rights-based approaches to confronting these challenges," adding: "We need to sound a loud and persistent alarm, given the tendency for flawed regulations to be cloned, and bad practices to flourish."
Hicks pointed to calls in Britain for stringent regulations in response to online racist attacks against three black England players who missed penalties in Sunday's Euro 2020 final.
Recent law in Texas blocked because Facebook and Co own the content, which is a lame ruling and ignored the tax money US gives them. But maybe gives Facebook and Co leverage with those emails from politicians they have access to.
Free speech is of existential necessity.
When finding the definition on existential, it was too vague from multiple dictionary sources. However, I think I found something that helps:
Existentialism – What It Is and Isn’t
Existentialism takes into consideration the underlying concepts:
-Human free will
-Human nature is chosen through life choices
-A person is best when struggling against their individual nature, fighting for life
-Decisions are not without stress and consequences
-There are things that are not rational
-Personal responsibility and discipline is crucial
-Society is unnatural and its traditional religious and secular rules are arbitrary
-Worldly desire is futile

Trying to be clear and specific with this comment because you kinda started going down a road with the Free Speech mention that I want to explore further with ya as I think that is the real issue past the dystopian industry 4 future we are about to be thrown into. Where yeah, centralized fake decentralized web applications, VR and merging of metaverse with real life is on the horizon. I live in a town where this is happening in Las Vegas. I wondered how AWS and Alphabet was going to centralize web 3.0 for industry 4. This article I found, which is more info then I have found on this so I need to deepdive this further but affirms the DNS issue 100% IMO.
I completely forgot about the Human Rights doctrines set out by the UN that was a concerning issue under Obombya. After reading this amazing article I totally remember it now.
Still more significantly, the adoption of the UDHR has yielded a great proliferation of human rights—or at least of claims now officially recognized as such. In the U.N. Declaration, in contrast to the American Declaration, rights are specified in a full 30 articles, many of which contain multiple proclaimed rights. Rights therein proclaimed to be “fundamental human rights” include the core rights of “life, liberty, and security of person”; a set of civil and political rights resembling those specified in the U.S. Constitution’s Bill of Rights; and beyond those, an array of proclaimed “economic, social and cultural rights” that includes, among others, rights to work, just remuneration, rest and leisure, social security, marriage, education, and participation in cultural life.
Basically it is the Communists(Satanist bankers that want us the same like robots) vs The Constitution (Document recognizing God and individuality). I am sure I am singing to the choir here so just know I agree with ya on many levels.
Free speech should be inherent to living and a right from birth; not dictated by man made laws. So better understanding that Human Rights is a UN term directly attacking our constitution, scares the crap out of me when their communistic ideology is casually shoved down our throats to be used as a magic spell to destroy entire global economies, societies and countries.
Truly, what Ice Age farmer brings up is a real thing and points to way bigger issues like our interconnected North American power grid, food supply lines and etc as something most likely will shut off either before or shortly after the internet switch to the VR industry 4 model.
Of course the flaggots on Hive will note that it isn't censorship at all, because the website is still there, just like they claim that information remains on the blockchain and their flagging posts and comments into the dust isn't censorship at all.
Yes, the flagging is getting old, so old. But as long as the community is allowing it as a whole by supporting their projects aimlessly or rather unwittingly (enter @ura-soul and his brilliant DV front end idea) than it is just something we have to deal with until the community approves a proposal to eliminate DV function on individual posts specifically, due to the consolidated HP preventing DPoS from working properly or rather more healthy so the community does not have to pander to power. Not sure if it is possible to do without simply mitigating to blurt which is showing my posts again. For months they were gone for some reason but site looks good and my posts are back.
Just perhaps HIVE is a true reflection of society and currently the global masses are waking up and protesting... except for in America as we follow youtube personalities into traps to be arrested or allow the BLM Antifa 20 year olds destroy entire towns because the TV told them to and The Biden admin will bail you out even after killing people or burning down whole towns.
Seems like it will be important to unstake HIVE to at least have a chunk set aside on a Ledger Nano, subscribe to starlink and hope we can still at least trade Crypto and that Government agent Elon can save the day with a new true DNS that can not be controlled by central powers.
Either way it all is looking bad but it is always the darkest before dawn.
Thanks for the thought provoking article!
