So I got a new microscope today. This was quite expensive and almost double the price of some similar microscopes on Amazon. This one has a special 30 year anti-fungal coating on the microscope lenes. This microscope will be an essential part of my soil school.
Assembling this microscope was not too bad as it was very easy. The packaging overall and for individually packaged items was really sturdy too! First, I needed to screw in the field objective lenes.
(Each lens had it's own threaded place in each container they were in to ensure they were stable in the package during shipment!)
After screwing in the field objective lenes I installed the microscope head where the eye pieces go. It was easy and only needed to hand tighten with a screw/knob to stabilize it.
I even have a wifi camera to be able to take pictures or do live video chats with what I am seeing under the scope via zoom for example. This kind of microscope is considered a trinocular microscope with a third viewing area meant for a camera
Thankfully there is a dust cover that came with this microscope as this will be expensive to clean!
