How Can We Improve Steemit?

Good Evening Steemians,

I continuously drive myself past satisfaction and strive to stay hungry and be great. I am always looking for ways to improve this community. Although I think Steemit is already an impressive platform, I see a lot of growth potential.

Below are a list of a few things that I think Steemit could benefit from if they were addressed.

• App
  • My number one issue with Steemit is the absence of a working mobile phone app! I think if Steemit can launch a functioning app we can see the price of steem raise like we have never seen before.
• Search bar
  • I find it difficult to search for steemit users using the current search bar. After recruiting some peers to Steemit, I have had difficulty finding them to follow. Implementing a search bar that mirrors Instagram or Facebook may be a good idea.
• Bots
  • Spam posts and comments can be discouraging to some steemians. I have seen less bots than when I first joined the platform, but eliminating all of the useless bots should be a priority.

How do you think we can improve the Steemit community? It is important to share your thoughts and ideas. Many whales on this platform read posts to gather info on what the community's outlook is.

If anybody has any articles on where Steemit stands with the development of an app, I would love to know.
