Cutting Some Parts for 12 New Mortars! My Actifit Report Card: August 18 2026

An old co-worker of mine from back Is my practical special effects career stopped in. Looking for us to cut some parts for some mortars.

Oftentimes these are filled with peat moss or dirt, some cork and some dust for color. And then a charge at the bottom and boom. You have a nice, safe explosion. It looks like the mortar went off. Great practical special effects for the motion picture industry.

But for us we were cutting parts for 12 more of these.
