Hey hey hey! Can you feel the heat? Well I might be late already but this is my 1st summer getaway this year. As much as I wanted to travel and go around the country, I am afraid I cannot because of work, deadlines and lack of budget. Hahahaha! But this is different because last friday and saturday was our Office Team Building.
Everyone deserves a break somehow right?
And this summer getaway is one way for us to chill and just enjoy the wonderful creation of Pampanga . And I must admit that Philippines has really great places to offer. I just love the nature, I mean who wouldn't enjoy such peaceful place right? And got crazy people with you to spice up the trip. Although we just stayed overnight, we make sure to maximize every opportunity.
One of the best thing in this trip is our Unending foodtrip yeah, you heard it right. The place had unlimited food. From the moment we arrived last friday and had dinner upto lunch on saturday.
Nature is life but food is lifer
And to mention that it's a buffet style of food it includes Crabs, huge shrimps (sugpo), Fish, Liempo, chicken, Tinolang manok, bulalo, pancit and more. They also have a salad bar, fruits and Halo-Halo for dessert. Feels like heaven 😂. And everyone is teasing me, telling me to stay there for a month, for me to gain weight. LOL! If only I could, then I would. Hahahaha!
So after we ate our dinner, we headed to our cabin and had a karaoke from 9pm to 2am lol, it was the very reason why I lost my voice. Hahahaha! I had a concert that night, nah just kidding. But we really enjoyed singing and eating again. The staffs are very accomodating they even grilled hotdogs and barbeques.
Aftef the karaoke session, we went to bed to rest and charge ourselves for the next day. The next day me and my roomates get up the earliest, we woke up around 6am. Our messenger went to our room to wake us up, but he was surprised that us adults are awake already (My two officemates have their kids with them hehe). So our group whom arrived the earliest last friday are the ones who woke up the earliest too yesterday. So we got the opportunity to take some photos and headed to eat our breakfast. And as expected the food was great huhu. They got lugaw, eggs, tocino (pampanga's specialty), hotdogs, corned beef, rice and more. Not to mention that the place have the best kakanin too! The mochi and suman are the best huhu.
After we had our breakfast, we prepared our things and headed to the pool! Of course this trip wouldn't be complete without enjoying the pool.
So we played and goof around in the pool together with the two kids. What I loved about the pool is, the water is not that cold but my officemates were shocked because it has 5 feet to 6 feet deep. Hahaha! Then it has a little slide too! I was able to try it yay! It was kinda short but it was fun! We even played basketball after we swim! The place really offer tons of physical activities. I just wish we could stay a little longer.
So after we swim, we took a bath fixed our things and explore the place a little longer. While the officers and some of my officemates are just sitting around while watching some movies, me and the troop (tropa) went outside to see the place. And what do you expect? We had a pictorial with those breathtaking views. I mean, you cannot just let that trip passed without having some memorabilia.

After the photoshoot, we need to go back to have our lunch and go back to manila. Time flies so fast. After we ate our lunch we just had a group photo.
And as we travel back to manila, one of my officemates suggested to buy some Pasalubongs for our loved ones and for our Moms. This is because we celebrate Mother's day today. So we went to susie's cuisine to buy some kakanins and cakes. Then my officer asked us if we wanted to drop by to starbucks to have some snacks. And of course everyone agreed. So we droppes by at Shell of Asia to have some frappe and snacks. And that's our last stop before going home.
