It's fascinating that a book that ages decades still proves worthy in this present era, maybe that's because The rules of money still remain the same, not minding the time and place. What worked 100 years ago in regard to increasing one's purse will work in this present time at the same time not minding the evolutions that had taken place. The book "the richest man in Babylon" by George S. Clason is one of the top read books for businessmen and people who are seeking to grow their wealth. That's because it is still effective in its method.

The author started by narrating the nature of the old Babylon like our present cities where the poor and the rich live together. But a ruler who was keen to see his people grow financially decided to seek the secret while a certain group of people kept growing rich while the other fraction of people remained poor. They worked hard, made money but it never grew instead it was spent solving daily problems. The number one tip provided was that the more we have, the wider our scope of spending increases and that's why saving is hard if one is not disciplined enough. Thus, saving and wealth is for a group of people that are disciplined when it comes to saving.

Yeah, it's easier to switch between the commodities we consume to meet our current worth but that only leads us to poverty. The writer provided us with several secrets that the old Babylon maintained , to sum it all, he showed us the best form.of investment. No one has ever grown a large purse without investing, but investment doesn't have to start big, the writer advised starting with 10% of our income and when we've accumulated enough, we invest it into something that will give us a certain amount of money and keep investing it until it expands, having several streams of income. Personally, I feel that's all about money, investing and expanding.

The writer further talked about luck and chance. Yeah, he talked about the rise and fall and it all happens when we're conscious of season and this relates to trading. Buying when we feel it's of less value and keeping it until it grows in value. If we are scared of taking risks, we may never encounter the goddess of luck; she comes to people who see ahead of them and make deliberate decisions to put in effort. I dare you to read the book "the richest man in Babylon" by George S. Clason and see if your idea about money wouldn't change for the better.
