While others were busy celebrating the festival, I was down with typhoid and probably malaria. I know it has been the stress of the past weeks. I had been administered three injections and the medication will continue through this week. My temperature is high, yet feeling cold inside, no appetite for food and I hope I get to my feet soon. It's not easy watching others run about doing things and you're stuck on your bed because your body feels weary. I am not use to lying bedridden whenever I'm sick and I bless God for such grace and his healing over my health.
I just couldn't allow the entire Christmas season to pass without wishing my friends a merry Christmas. Everyone is special here, not minding your status in the ecosystem. I'm getting better and I know I will be strong by tomorrow. I just couldn't eat the number of chicken I budgeted. It's truly a gift to be alive this season and eat from that which you've labored.
