It helps as we get to learn a little bit about each other. That makes things easier. I don't mind if you disagree. I actually welcome it because I personally think the most opportunity to learn a person can find is in having civil discussions with people that we don't agree with.
You learn new things. It's much harder to encounter new things when you only talk to people that agree with you.
I am in the process of trying to move, while also doing my job, and as such I was juggling too many balls at once and I let my ego go more unchecked than I like. Normally I pay attention to myself better but I think I was trying to do too many things at once and dropped my guard.
This will be a risk for a month or two. My house is listed next Thursday. Once I know it is under contract and how much I have to spend I'll then be able to put some offers on houses where we are moving. We've been packing like crazy. I've also been doing my job that pays the bills.
We had a place we liked that we put a contingent offer on that fell through this morning. We've decided no more contingent offers. We'll put in an offer when we are not guessing about when we'll have money and how much it is.
You actually did fine. Sure you used some approaches I don't like but I went WAY OVERBOARD on pointing them out. You also said some completely reasonable things that I overreacted and mishandled.
You have my respect. I think is important to acknowledge mistakes. Then it is easier to learn from them. Sometimes other people can learn from our mistakes as well when we share them.
I wish scientists would tell us about their failed experiments for example. That'd be pretty useful information I think.
