Shellworks utilizes unused and environmentally friendly materials for sustainable plastic solutions. So that it can be biologically graded and recyclable.
Shellwork, a collaborative project between Royal College of Art and Imperial College, uses 5 series of machines (Shelly, Sheety, Vaccy, Dippy and Drippy) to make bioplastics made from seafood waste (crustacean shells) because the hard and flexible texture can be modified based on object needs.
