Good day steemians artists and friends! Its been a while since my last posting of my art and im here again to share with you my new drawing of an anime-like.
Its a character of Ragnarok, a Paladin warrior. My 2nd coloured art that i had drawn, and i think i drew it really good (for my own opinion) this time.
My Process
My medium here is a .05 mechanical pencil. I usually start my drawing on the eye then to its hair and face.
Draw his clothes and armor, i just relaxed my arms, hand and fingers here, applying a not to hard grip on my pencil so i can easily move it continuously.
You can see now his arm here and armor of his clothes.
I have finish half of his body here, all the clothes accessories are done.
Now it is complete! I already drawn his big sword and the lower part of his body.
I added an extension of paper below to draw some parts of the shoes and sword (i use a long pad but i drawn my image so big that it occupied the whole space).
Then i started to trace the pencil line with my 0.1 black sign pen, to make it more visible to see.
Coloring it with staedtler luna pencil.
I have some hard time in coloring it and mixing colors, i only have 24 pencil colors, so finding the right colors from soft to hard color blending was so hard for me here.
From here, i darkened all the colors to make it more clear, the result is really good.
Done the colors! Now im shading the background all black with a pentelpen.
Its finish! The black background turned my Paladin drawing looks amazing! What do you think guys?
