One of my favorite sayings is “Everybody is lucky” which is true. Everybody is lucky in a society where there is freedom because you are allowed to choose for yourself, in my previous post I talked about Choice and how our simple choices can have a great effect on our life, and if we look at Choice and look at luck, they work together because the kind of luck you’ll be getting depend on the kind of choice you are making and there is also a saying that says the hard I work the luckier I get, which also claims that the choices that you make with determine the kind of luck you will get.
We live in a world where people believe that choice doesn’t affect our luck and that luck just happens to us which I completely disagree with it. Luck doesn’t just happen to us. We have so many things that would determine whether we are going to be lucky or not and the common one is taking opportunities,taking actions, and the kind of choices that you are making. Our luck is directly proportional to the choices we are making. We must understand that most people don’t create their luck but it happens to them because they position themselves for it.
Opportunities
Opportunity is one of the major components of luck, but most people are always scared to make use of the opportunity that they have. We have those people who see opportunity and run and we have those people that make use of the opportunity and get luckier day by day. Some people have multiple opportunities but they waste them all and they are still questioning why they are not lucky, you don’t take opportunities and you are seeking luck. It is very common in our present world to expect luck to come away without using every opportunity we have.
Action
We have those who are complaining that they are not lucky but they fail to take action. Some people expect luck to happen to them without them doing anything. It is very important we know that if we don’t take any actions in life nothing good happens, everything we experience during our lifetime is a result of our previous actions. There is no point in expecting results without the action. People don’t take action because they are scared of the unknown. They don’t know what might happen in the future, but that is where they get it wrong, you don’t have to know the future because Mother Nature always has a way of paying back those who take action.
We are lucky
We must always remember that whether you don’t take an opportunity or you fail to take an action this depends on your choice. We all have a choice to make. You can choose to do something or choose not to do anything and if you choose to improve your life and work towards it there will also be changes. The kind of preparation you make and also going for opportunities will determine the luck you get. Everybody is lucky but every small choice you make, preparation, going for opportunities, and taking action will determine your luck.
