It is said that skills will make you sit among kings because there are skills you will possess that will distinguish you from almost everybody and even if you are not planning to monetize these skills of yours people might approach to use and they will pay you for it. An example of this is when you are very good with the musical instruments. You might not plan to quickly monetize this ability but immediately people realize how good they quickly want to use you.
The truth is hard work can take you to any place in life but when we look at the way skills can quickly elevate a man the pace is just on another level we have seen people with a skill that go up the ladder and later but later fall and we probably don't hear anything about them again because skills can make you sit among kings but it won't keep you there. We have so many things that might keep us at the top but one of those things we must understand is people.
Understanding people is not as easy as it may sound for everyone because we all came from different backgrounds and we see things differently, we feel things differently and our approach to situations might be different because of these reasons. These will determine our relationship with people and people see us and immediately we start getting more famous or in a better position in life there will be an eye on us and everything that seems normal to us might not be normal to the world and if someone is not careful it might be his downfall.
Understanding people takes another level of intelligence because living your truth might not take you anywhere, you must develop as a person to know what to say, when to say it, and how to say it and you must never let just feelings overcloud your judgment in every decision making and one of the first things people find difficult when there are the top is understanding people which always go a long way be it in a career or businesses.
People will tell you to be yourself at all times but the reality is when you are at the top people live two different lives which are the one that seems perfect that knows all the right answers and the reality which is determined by the things mentioned above and to stay consistent at the top we must be that person that understands people irrespective of we see things or where we are coming from.
