I know a few of my friends who are very real and also straightforward people, and they are the type that don't give a **** about what you feel about them. They set their boundaries so high, and if you are doing something wrong, they will correct you immediately. But what I notice about them is that they don't have a lot of friends. It's always tough for people to get along with them because they will tell you how it is without hiding their feelings. They don't have time to edit words in their mind, they just say them as they feel, and this makes them alone sometimes.
one thing I do understand is that the few people that are left with them understand them and they know the kind of person they are, and it's easy for people to trust them in certain situations. but the truth is, Why are people running away from them? One thing I realize about people who don't edit words before they say them is that they often sound like they're judging you. They sound as if they don't give a fuck about what you feel, and for this, people don't always hang around with them, and to some of them, it is concerning, but to most of them, it is not. They don't care as long as they are living their truth.
Sometimes, it is better to keep your honest and sincere opinion to yourself, especially when the people you want to tell aren't close to you, and you must understand that when some people are not ready to hear the truth, it is better not to tell them.
If you're talking to somebody who needs your honest opinion about something, or your honest opinion about what they've been doing wrong. The truth won't sound as if you are judging them, some of these people might sincerely need your advice, and giving them will not create any form of enemy, or they will not rebel against you but telling people the truth that they don't want to hear about themselves will only make them rebel against you, and it can also create the enemy that you don't need just because they misunderstand you. Sometimes, you're not trying to judge them, you just want them to change their ways but they don't need your advice and opinion, and reminding them of what they are doing wrong will only limit their actions and what they say to you.
People want to be where they are comfortable, where they can express themselves freely without being looked at differently and sometimes it is better to let them be by staying away from them rather than saying the truth that they don't ask for
Being a better person requires a level of understanding that can be achieved by actively listening to others. Instead of cutting them off or judging them prematurely, it's important to let them speak and express themselves fully. It's not necessary to share our opinions or thoughts if they aren't requested, as this might make them feel uncomfortable and restrict their communication with us. If someone behaves in a way we wouldn't, it's best to excuse them and not hold it against them. By living this way, we can avoid making enemies and build better relationships with those around us. It's a more effective way of setting boundaries without hurting others' feelings.
