A few months ago, I decided to buy Chaos Legion's full deck, and to my surprise, it has had a significant impact on my performance as a Splinterlands player. Not only am I now playing in the Champions League, but I am also winning more matches than ever before. However, I have come to realize that the game is not just about earning money, as the reward and margin systems have undergone significant changes. While money is still important, winning matches and gaining SPS requires a solid strategy.

These days, I have been playing with people with lower decks than mine, and I have not been able to win as much just because sometimes those people have a perfect strategy, and not only that I lose the match, but They even comfortably won in the process, which at first was annoying and later, I realized that I should work on building my strategy and not only depend on me having a full deck, I should build a strategy that would work against any opposition whether their deck is stronger than mine or my deck is stronger than theirs.

Money gives advantage but no too much

Having money might make it easier to max out your card, but it's not the only factor at play. While having a high-level card can give you an advantage in games, it's not a guarantee for success. Players today are developing strategies that can neutralize even the most powerful cards, making it crucial to understand how to use your abilities effectively. Simply spending a lot of money on the game won't necessarily lead to victory, and losing to someone with a lower position or less expensive card can be frustrating.

Just that the more you play the game, the more you get better, and the more you realize that money also gives you an advantage. If you are very good at playing the game and you have access to a strong and powerful deck, it will be easier for you to go higher. I'm playing in the Champions League, which is not very easy because most people there have the same max card as I do or even better, so it is more challenging there. It shows that all I need is strategy, and I've been developing quite a few to win matches.

To play at highest level is not even that expensive

One of the best things about Splitterlands is that playing at the highest level is not cost. You can easily rent all the necessary requirements in the market, which is not expensive contrary to what most people believe. Some of the cards available for rent are very affordable, and it's often recommended to rent them to get the most out of the game. Playing at the highest level is very rewarding, and it doesn't have to be expensive. You can even rent again the following season and make some gains in the process.
