The splinterlands season just ended, and it was an amazing season for me, where I was able to accumulate a lot of glints. As I've promised in the past, I won't be spending my glint yet. Still, I had to change my mind when I realized that better ways have been implemented in the shop on how to spend our glints, This is why I have to change my mind so that I will not miss out on the opportunity because most of my soul bound cards are not yet level up. My priority is to level them up. So they can compete at the highest level.
Rarity draw is one of the amazing features of Spinterlands shop that enables users to prioritize their goals and this is the new implementation in the shop. For me, upgrading my legendary monsters has always been a priority as most of them were at level 1. When I saw the rarity draw, I couldn't resist the temptation to spend my glint. I spent over 200,000 glints on legendary rarity and managed to upgrade most of my legendary monsters to level 2. This was a significant achievement for me because most of my soulbound legendary monsters have always been in level one
I believe I made the right decision by not spending my Glint last season because I was able to accumulate a lot of it and spend it on various rarities. The splinterlands shop is now much better, and there has been significant improvement. Even though it's only the second season, we'll be spending Glints in the shop. This implementation will make it easy for me to upgrade my Monsters as it gives players the ability to choose and focus on what they want.
Experiment renting sps which was not that bad
Being the first time to delegate sps, I was initially skeptical about the results it would yield. All I needed was 240,000 SPS to meet the sps requirement for Champions League 3 because I already stacked 113,000 SPS and I needed 140,000 SPS to maximize my earnings. Before renting, I only earned two SPS per win, but now after renting, I earn three SPS per win. One thing I noticed is that my glints earrings significantly jump. I earned around 300 glints per win before the delegation but after the delegation, I started earning close to 600 glints per win, which was a significant jump and also made it very easy for me to accumulate glint.
In terms of profits, the investment of 3000 Dec to rent 140,000 SPS may not seem very profitable. However, the amount of SPS earned in just a few days and the accumulation of Glint may make it fair. Although using Glint to upgrade the deck is a very profitable option because it equals more money in the future, it is a priority for me. The Glint can also be used to play more battles and earn more SPS, but this is not currently a priority.
