The present splinterlands season has been very difficult and if you have been very demanding playing in the wild league,you would have noticed some recent changes, I’m not talking about the league pass,I am talking about how difficult it is to win a single match in wild League simply because they have been a massive reduction in bots playing in the wild league and for somebody like me with a small deck,it is now very hard to compete with some top players.
I have been playing more with real players which means I came up against difficult formations and also crazy strategies from real players and it has been challenging for me with a small deck and I have been finding it difficult ti win a lot of matches but I am enjoying the challenge now. One thing I am worried about is the effect this would have on my deck at the end of the season and this can be a positive change and also a negative change.The positive change is the increment of sps per win.
Double sps is really good
At the beginning of the season,I was not earning a lot of sps I think this was because the system was trying to readjust to the new changes but as the season went on everything began to change and my sps doubled per win. Throughout last season I was earning around 1.9 sps per but and as I moved up the league it increased to 2.0, presently my sps earnings are around 3.3 and 3.5 which is not bad for someone playing in a diamond league but this is not the case for Glints.
If you have been following my splinterlands journey you realize that I build my strategy towards gaining more Glints and upgrading my deck. upgrading my deck has been my major priority so that I will be able to complete it at the highest level, but with the recent changes, my glints reward has reduced drastically. before I was earning around 700 Glints per win, which helped me to upgrade so many cards in my deck but with the recent changes my glints have dropped to around 351 making it hard to upgrade my deck.What this simply means is that I will have to play 2x the match to earn my previous Glints.
Creating balance is the key
it is obvious I need more glint and also I need sps to be able to afford the Wild League pass payment at the beginning of every season but I have to create the balance.Building my deck is very important to me and I need Glints for that, earning sps is also very important but I can't rent sps from the market now because it won't make so much sense from a financial point of view. The plan now is to keep playing and stake every sps I earn.I hope this adds up quickly because paying wild pass and also renting sps will be so expensive for a single season,staking all my rewards and spending my Glints wisely is the best option now.
