The new dao splinterlands proposal is something people have been talking about and I will like to share my opinion because it is something I have seen coming for a long time now and this is the page to the post here
This proposal is simply talking about the reward system in each league and how the fixed reward will be distributed, with this proposal you must use the right leveled card for each league which means you cannot use the bronze level card in the gold league without getting penalized for instance if you use level one common in gold league one you be penalized for it.
We have thousands of bots mining rewards in each league with low-level cards but now their rewards will be reduced because most of these bots play at higher levels with lower levels cards and also most of us prefer using starter cards in battle will all be penalized.
For the pasts few weeks, I have been upgrading my chaos deck because they are cheap and give me better chances to compete at higher levels but with this update, it makes more sense to level up cards now if we want to gain our full rewards in rank battles.
I don’t hate bots because they can be good and also the other way around but irrespective of what you do in the game you should be rewarded according to your investment. If you invest just so little you shouldn’t be tapping from the rewards of those that invested a lot more than you did.
This simply means more rewards for people playing with the right leveled cards in appropriate leagues because fewer people tense to fight for more rewards and don’t forget splinterlands have a fixed reward pool for each league.
I believe we might see things differently but one of the reasons why people go against is that they believe is another way to enrich the whale because they have the resources to combine cards and have their max rewards. This belief is not right and that is why we have different leagues with different fixed rewards for everyone to compete plus the rental market is cheap.
