When I was young, I used to procrastinate a lot. So many things that I should have done that won't take much time. I will postpone it. Sometimes, those things are not even up to 2 minutes and I can just do it quickly but I won't. I will now separate a special day to do it, but this greatly affected my life because I was not organized in any way.
Sometimes just cleaning my house can be a problem to do the laundry and house chores. I mostly postpone all those things to the weekend, Maybe I have a meeting with somebody I will postpone it. It's not that I'm lazy, I just like doing things when I'm in the mood, which affects my life because it is a bad habit.
I can tell you that I'm not always on time. My time management was so poor that I realized that if I should continue that way, I might not have anything.
Those days. I don't know the value of time. I don't know the importance of showing up every day, doing things immediately. Don't waste time on things, and don't postpone what you can do easily.
Time on time
For years, I didn't enjoy reading until I discovered novels. Though I still don't like reading books, I find joy in reading a page or two of a novel daily. Eventually, I began to spend up to two hours reading, which has helped shift my perspective on many things. This habit has also created a routine for me to show up and read every day.
Just because I want to read at night, I must put many things in place during the day. I realized that it wouldn't even take much time for me to do it. It helped me to be able to manage my time well.
Manage it
Time management can be complicated and affect many aspects of one's life. One way to tackle the issue is by creating a routine that you know you can commit to every day. For example, some people prioritize watching their favorite sports team play and make sure they never miss a game. By applying this same level of commitment to other areas of life, like work or study, you can develop your time management skills and reap the benefits of consistently showing up every day. It's not easy, but there is power in the daily routine.
