My friend came to me seeking advice on starting a business that can generate quick profits. I provided him with multiple ideas, but he seemed to be fixated on finding the perfect one as he believes most of his ideas are good without proper evaluation. I wish I could have convinced him otherwise.
When it comes to ideas, no idea is perfect. There is always something wrong with every idea, but the truth is, whenever each idea strikes our mind they're always good, and there is no bad idea until you try them out.
One common mistake people make is having an unshakable belief in their ideas. They may even put in a lot of effort to make it work. However, it's important to recognize that just because we came up with an idea doesn't mean it's a good one. It's crucial to take some time to evaluate our ideas and determine if they're worth pursuing before going the extra mile, as blindly pursuing them can have negative consequences.
Most people are misled just because they put sentiment and chase their ideas. Sometimes, it might be obvious that the idea is not particularly good, but because it is theirs, they want to prove people wrong, going the extra mile and wasting a lot of money to implement it. Sometimes, they can be right, but sometimes, when we realize the idea is no good, it is better just to face the harsh reality that the idea is bad.
This does not mean we should not chase our ideas because if we refuse to, we might end up regretting it when we see another man living our dream life with the idea that's his once in our mind, but we choose not to implement it.
We should remember that every idea that comes to our mind will be good, but we must evaluate it and see maybe it is good or bad, and if we can come to this conclusion that it is good or bad, we should try and implement it slowly instead of going the extra mile to implement what is doomed to fail.
So, ideas may sound terrible or look bad, but they might be the best ideas that will save us. It is always better to remember not to go wild about our good or bad ideas. We must take it slow and see if people will accept it.
