I have never been very enthusiastic about the upcoming return of the iconic Lara Croft in "Tomb Raider", but I had some hope that alongside the new Lara, in the face of the talented Alicia Vikander and the promises of the studio, we will see a different movie from Angelina Jolie's. The first ad, however, illustrates that the movie will not differ much from the old "missions", neither as a story nor as a vision, but is now debuting a new full trailer that reinforces our feelings.
The action of "Tomb Raider" develops seven years after the disappearance of Lara Croft's father. She is 21 years old, refuses to take the lead in the global business empire, and instead works in London while trying to finish her education. Despite the advice of the people in her circle, Lara refuses to accept her father's death and move on with her life. Instead, she begins to investigate his mysterious disappearance, and this endeavor leads her to the last place he had been seen - a legendary tomb on a mythical island somewhere around the coast of Japan.
