[ENG🇬🇧] Sometimes everyday life surprises us, we just need to be present, attentive and observe our surroundings. Sometimes we can go in automatic mode in a hurry and we stop seeing many details that may be original or curious. And it is not necessary to go far or to strange or different places, it may be that in a small street with hardly any traffic, with a few trees, we find something that catches our attention.

That happened to me, in one of those streets that I have mentioned, a street in a normal neighborhood, a small street without much movement, where there are parked cars and a few urban trees that decorate the space. And while waiting for another person, I suddenly raised my eyes and there it was, the surprise.

The surprise was that there was a small object, well a small animal, well actually it was a small stuffed animal, a small sloth, there it was smiling and perched on one of the branches of the tree.

[ESP🇪🇸] A veces el día a día nos sorprende, sólo necesitamos estar presentes, atentos y observar a nuestro alrededor. A veces podemos ir en modo automático con prisas y dejamos de ver muchos detalles que, quizás puedan ser originales o curiosos. Y no hace falta irse lejos o a lugares raros o diferentes, puede ser que en una pequeña calle sin apenas tráfico, con unos pocos árboles, encontremos algo que nos llame la atención.

Eso me ha sucedido, en una de esas calles que he comentado, una calle de un barrio normal, una calle pequeña sin mucho movimiento, en el que hay coches aparcados y unos pocos árboles urbanos que decoran el espacio. Y estando esperando a otra persona de repente alcé mis ojos hacia arriba y ahí estaba, la sorpresa.

La sorpresa era que había un pequeño objeto, bueno un pequeño animal, bueno en realidad era un pequeño peluche de un animal, un pequeño perezoso, ahí estaba sonriente y encaramado en una de las ramas del árbol.

[ENG🇬🇧] Haha, who had left it there? Why? Because it wasn't something random, it wasn't an item that someone had misplaced or that a child had dropped, because it was very well placed in that small tree.

I don't know the reason but it made me smile, it's something you don't expect on a normal day, on a normal boring street, suddenly something original and very curious appears to talk about, and to think about the owner of the stuffed animal. But leaving aside the questions, all that was left was to take a couple of photos so that the work of that anonymous owner would be reflected somewhere, and to that unknown person who had his crazy idea, I dedicate these words.

It has made us think that, if we had passed quickly by that sidewalk looking at our cell phone, we probably wouldn't have seen it, because it's not so easy to see or very exposed, how many people would have looked up to see that surprising and happy sloth?

[ESP🇪🇸] Jaja ¿quién lo había dejado ahí? ¿por qué? Porque no era algo al azar, no era un elemento que alguien había extraviado o que a un niño se le hubiera caído, porque estaba muy bien colocado en ese pequeño árbol.

No sé cuál es la razón pero me ha hecho sonreír, es algo que no esperas en un día normal, en una calle normal aburrida, de repente surge algo original y muy curioso de lo que hablar, y pensar en el dueño del peluche. Pero dejando las preguntas sólo quedaba hacer un par de fotos para que la labor de ese dueño anónimo quedara reflejada en algún lugar, y a esa persona desconocida que tuvo su idea loca, le dedico estas palabras.

Nos ha hecho pensar que, si hubiéramos pasado rápidamente por esa acera mirando el móvil seguramente no lo hubiéramos visto, porque no es tan fácil de ver ni está muy expuesto, ¿cuánta gente habrá levantado la mirada para ver a ese sorpresivo y feliz perezoso?

[ENG🇬🇧] I don't know, but I have seen it, and now you all have too. I think there should be more original initiatives like this that suddenly take us out of our thoughts and routines, make us smile and think about other things. It's something funny that already improves a normal day, with a little unexpected and different surprise.

How long will it be there? We'll have to go there another day and see it...

[ESP🇪🇸] No lo sé, pero yo sí lo he visto, y ahora también todos vosotros. Creo que debería haber más iniciativas originales así que de repente nos saquen de nuestros pensamientos y rutinas, que nos saquen una sonrisa y que nos hagan pensar en otras cosas. Es algo gracioso que ya mejora un día normal, con una pequeña sorpresa inesperada y diferente.

¿Cuánto tiempo estará ahí? Habrá que pasar por ahí otro día y verlo...
