Hello people!
This week there is a new #POBphotocontest photography contest, and I am joining it again in my sixth time. This is an initiative of @friendlymoose and this time the new round is dedicated to tranquility, nice topic, we all need sometime a bit of tranquility in some place... So here is my new contribution.
Time passes quickly, sometimes we feel that it escapes us in a frenetic routine, in a list of things to do that makes us lose track of what is happening now. Stress, nerves and noise, and then at some point we realize that we need to stop. We need peace of mind.
And we find it, when we find the right moment and the right place. A calm, serene and silent tranquility that makes us feel good and at peace again, with ourselves and with that beautiful and inspiring world that surrounds us.
We just need to find that natural place that brings us back to reality, to that time that seems to stand still, a view that takes us far away and moves slowly, and we let ourselves go...
The sea gives us that sensation, we breathe to the rhythm of the current, while our eyes are lost in the infinity of the horizon, and our ears move away with the sound of the seagulls flying around.
The seagulls also enjoy the gentle breeze, the serene sound and the views of the sea, and we stop thinking. We enjoy that tranquility that we find ahead.
It is a special scene, each of us can discover our own... sometimes it is an everyday place and sometimes it is unique. That was a different time and site, and not the sea but Lake Michigan from the wonderful coastal promenade in the city of Chicago, in the United States, very close to North Avenue Beach. A pleasant place to relax.
And there, we find a pier that makes us go further, leave behind everything that disturbs us and allows us to enter into the totality of the tranquility that the water of this lake or the sea gives us.
The wind and calm embrace us, we are accompanied by the seagulls and the desire to breathe deeply, while we stare at that distant line that tells us that everything is fine, then we only feel peace, calm and tranquility.
