Hi everyone... Thought I'd share some photos of home. I've been missing the summer since spring has begun, so I figured I'd share some of my favourite shots from around the Island where I live.
An old driveway to a once abandoned cottage on the water. It was finally purchased and fixed up, but the drive was widened and lost its overgrowth. Still got the memory though.
A stairway at a park on the mainland... but you can see my Island from certain parts of the coastal walking trials. At the top... ocean views.
What's a fishing community without a wharf and an old fish plant?
Or a lighthouse... one of the most photographed in the world. No.... it's not in Maine, it's Canadian.
Lupines grow in ditches around the Island in different spots. Purple, white, and other mixed colours.
Apple blossoms in the spring. They don't last long, but they hang in the trees just long enough to appreciate.
Fields at sunset are nice as well, with a little fog for effect...
And Sunsets at sea are worth the wait too.
And lastly, a sunrise through the trees of a secret spot I found while hiking.
