In these warm August days, while a large part of the northern hemisphere of our blue planet is struggling with high temperatures, lack of water and large forest fires, it is the right time to bring up the topic of cooling and relaxation.
But I believe that someone in the south of Argentina could use a little more sun today and would gladly accept a little heating?
The monthly theme set by @avdesing for August, I loved it as soon as I saw it and I admit, I immediately took a peek at the video she shared with us in her post, to see if we have similar tastes.
I liked the first two videos, with rain sounds and fountain sounds, but I couldn't listen to them for long, the sound of water made me want to go to the toilet in my head 🙂
But that's why the third video with Raiki music is a video that I kept in the archive, so that I can enjoy it when I need to relax and fall asleep.
I usually have a very good sleep.
Sometimes I fall asleep when I should be awake (luckily I'm not employed as a night watchman and I'm not a soldier on night watch), so I don't need these kinds of sounds to relax.
Although I have to admit, they are pleasant sometimes, when I don't want to watch a TV program, to listen to some podcasts, movies or series, then I play a video on the TV screen with some distant mountain regions, lakes, rivers, seas, nature or animals with relaxing music.
And even though it's warm and I don't need a fire at the moment either, I'll share with you two videos from Youtube, which are memorized on my TV.
When my brother bought a new house in Scotland, he installed an imitation fireplace in his living room.
His fireplace, in addition to the beautiful colors of the fire it emits, is also used for heating (gas).
I liked that idea, that in the living room I have a nice orange color from the glow of the fire, however, since we don't need additional heating in our apartment, it was enough just to find a video with a recording of the fire and the sound of crackling, which I would reproduce on our big screen.
When it's cold outside (unlike today, when it's almost 40°C), I like to sit on the floor, make a cup of tea and enjoy these sounds.
At that moment, while I'm sitting in the dark, when I close my eyes, I feel like orange waves of fire are warming my face.
These are video clips that I found on YouTube channels, and since it is very warm now, I will make a longer video, with a picture of the seashore that I took in mid-June in Petrovac.
On the video I pasted the music that I listen to when I want to cool down, relax and enjoy myself.
The music I acquired 15 years ago, while I was staying in Ohrid, a small Macedonian town on Lake Ohrid.
The music was played from his CD player by the man who was driving us across the lake in a boat and he agreed to give me a disc which I copied and transferred to the memory of my phone.
I believe that only some of you will recognize the words of some songs, but everyone can enjoy the beautiful music of all 15 songs that I have included in the video.
I would be happy to state who is the author of these tracks, but considering that even Shazam cannot recognize them, I believe that it is a cover of some Macedonian ethnic music group.
I thought I'd post this video on Youtube, so I could share it with you, but not to risk a copyright penalty (maybe Youtube knows who the author is 🙂 ), I'm sharing the music via #3speak.
The music is not mine, the video is, and together they make a great hour to enjoy and relax.
