No, don't worry!
Everything is still fine with Hive.
Although at the minimum value, everything still works perfectly.
But my HIVE is broken.
The pendant, which I received as a gift exactly one year ago on 07/22/2025 in a small town on the banks of the Danube River, and wore it with my keys non-stop until Monday, broke.
It almost lasted the whole year.
From HIVE, all I have left is HIV 馃槙
Fortunately, the letter E that broke stayed in my pocket, so I'll try to glue it somehow and if I don't carry it with my keys, I'll leave it among my collection of keychains..
On July 22 of last year, apart from the fact that I felt the first physical contact with an object from the Hive world under my fingers, I also felt something else.
Shaking hands and meeting Hivers offline that I met online on the Hive network.
I already wrote about that one-day Hive Meetup in Apatin, when I had the opportunity to meet great people.
I would not tag them on this occasion, and I will be very happy if they find this post of mine and recognize themselves in it 馃檪
A year passes, and the impressions I got that day hanging out with them on a great walk around Apatin and the Danube bank are still in my memory and I'm sharing them this Thursday in #TBT.
In addition to the pendant that has been my constant companion for a year, I received a few more Hive items as a gift in a prize draw held at the Meetup in Graz (which I followed online), and so I am still able to feel Hive in my hands, while drinking water or while carrying a Hive backpack on my shoulder, in addition to under my fingers on the keyboard.
But for the record, I carried the pendant with me every day and ran my fingers over its fine print countless times, every time I used my keys.
With other subjects, this is not the case. Occasionally used, and they are a dear reminder to me of how real, tangible Hive can be.
And all those Hive items, which I occasionally hold in my hands, will remind me of my broken HIVE, even if, in the reunion, which I hope will be an occasion, I do not get myself some new pendant.
