Summer passed (for me, fifty 馃檪)
Two days before the arrival of autumn in the Northern Hemisphere, I feel the last tremors of summer, warm, sunny days and slightly cooler nights.
All the summer vibes are slowly dying down and the days spent on the beaches, by the pools, lakes and on the seas go to memory.
A good time to recall the must-have items I used on those beaches, which have been suggested as September's monthly theme in #HiveCollectors
Towels
We all have them in our homes, in closets, in toilets and bathrooms...
But when I saw the topic, I didn't have in mind those simple towels that we use every day and that we have a closet full of.
I thought of the towels we use on the beach in the summer (and sometimes in the winter when we go to a spa).
We came back from the sea, where we spread our towels on the sandy beaches or on the sunbeds.

We have several pieces of beach towels in our collection.
The ones from the photos on the sand, which we took on the plane to Cyprus, are thin, but thin enough for the humid Cypriot nights, to dry at least a little before we take them back to the sunbeds at the pool or the beach in the morning.
And we left some slightly thicker ones at home, which we wear when we go on vacation by car (or to the Spa center in winter). Only then do we have space for them in our suitcases...
I sometimes use my two or three large towels as a cover, because they are too big and very thick.
And a special place in the collection is these towels with palm and butterfly details, which belong to my mistress.
She also had a green towel with a small frog appliqu茅, but in the incident we experienced last year while returning from Greece, on the highway, she was left without it.
I was driving the car at 130 km/h, when I saw something green flying behind the car in the rearview mirror.
My light immediately turned on, that it was her green towel, and I started to stop.
When I finally stopped (in a safe place), I found the roof box open, in which the towel was. I was too far to go back to get it and so, I owed the lady a nice green towel (because I have adequately secured the lid of the roof box).
For this reason, this year, before the summer, I went in search of a new one that she would like.
I bought a dark green one, but she doesn't like it, so my collection has been increased by another towel.
And the search for the green female towel still continues.
I hope that it will be successful and that our collection will be increased by another towel that she will use.
