The world economy has shown, for the first quarter of 2020, the worst figures ever seen by humanity, as a consequence of the Covid-19 pandemic, hitting hard all markets and therefore society

Currently, countries are evaluating how to get out of quarantine in order to reactivate the economy.
The answer to this question has clearly not been 100% positive in countries that have already passed the peak of the infection curve, as is the case in China, where a resurgence of the virus has occurred after activities were reactivated.
However, there is clearly a real concern about the economic recession that countries are going through worldwide and the reactivation of markets is not so simple without the eminent harm of a resurgence or increase in the number of infections .
In this context, it is important to point out those markets that have been hit hardest by Covid 19: Airports and Airlines, Tourism and Hotels, Sports and Artistic Events, Cinemas-Theatres, Restaurants, Shopping Centres and Factories and Industries.
The airport, civil and commercial aviation industry is one of the markets hardest hit by the pandemic, airports as well as airlines and all organizations that are part of the supply chain and services provided to this industry, have suffered very significant economic losses in the first quarter of 2020 and without even having certainty until the normalization of passenger flights that are the main source of income in this market.
During the month of March, the executive president of the International Air Transport Association (IATA), told the BBC that airlines could have a loss of up to $113 billion this year.
The director of the Latin America and Caribbean division of the Airports Council International (ACI) said that the estimated losses for the sector for the first quarter of 2020 alone would be $700 million, with a reduction of approximately 90% in passenger flights in the various countries of Latin America and the Caribbean expected in the last week of March 2020.
More recently, www.nlarenas.com presents today 06/05/2020 the updated information of IATA regarding the impact of the pandemic, where it assures that:
Air passenger revenue will fall by $314 billion in 2020, a 55% drop from 2019. On March 24, IATA estimated $252 billion in lost revenue (-44% from 2019) in a three-month scenario of severe travel restrictions
Source of Quotation:
The losses in this sector are millions worldwide, while on one side of the world there are severe restrictions for flights within the same country, such as in Argentina, which are suspended from March to possibly September. However, in other parts of the world such as Russia these restrictions are not applied and it is even estimated that flights abroad will start on July 1st. In that sense, several airlines are scheduled to start their flight itineraries in Latin America and the Caribbean, such is the case of Air Canada and Copa Airlines from June 1.
The airlines have proposed to find ways to provide and offer the passengers the hygienic measures to fight the Covid-19, taking into consideration all the processes that involve the passengers from the moment of the ticket check-in to the transfer to their destination.
Among the measures taken by the airlines are the uniforms and protective materials provided to the flight crew, as shown in the images shown in this work, as is the case of Emirates and Air Asia.
Cleaning and disinfection measures are also being taken for the entire aircraft, both before and after the flight, with disinfectant products approved by the health authorities.
Among other protocols that are being implemented can be mentioned in the case of the airlines United, American Airlines and JetBlue that since May 1, give passengers a mask that must be used at all times during the flight. Regarding food service, many airlines only provide it in flights of more than 4 hours and with packaged products as well as the least amount of utensils, such food will be handled as little as possible by the cabin crew. Finally, the ventilation system of the aircrafts was considered, which must comply with certain requirements, in the specific case of Latam in its website they specify:
Ventilation systems: Our aircraft have an air recirculation system that renews the air in the aircraft every 3 minutes thanks to HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Air) filters, which remove 99.97% of the particles.

Finally, in relation to the distance between each person, which is an issue of great concern to passengers, the airlines offer to leave an empty seat, but as a curious fact in my research I found in El Cronista a publication on April 30th published information from an Italian company designer and manufacturers of aircraft seats Aviointeriors SPA, which presented two proposals for seats designed to provide airlines the facility of not having to leave an empty seat

and logically save the costs that such a measure would cause, because there would be fewer passengers transported on each flight.
