What a nightmare...
Just as I was about to head to bed, hear a critter in the roof.
Which there shouldn't be, as I am on the ground floor of a 3 floor apartment.
Then there was a god awful pssshhhhh sound.
Stress levels rose, and, unsure if it was the gas or not.
Instantly turned off the gas heater.
Last thing I need on top of everything else, is for my house to explode.
Then I saw the rivulets of water cascading down the wall.
Sweet, it's just water.
Oh shit, it's water.
Moved all the electrical stuff off the kitchen counter, rang the fire brigade, and turned the heating back on.
Gotta look on the bright side I guess.
I have surgery in 2 days to rectify the 'broken exhaust'
At least I was home to notice the noise.
As it is it took fire brigade 10 minutes to get here and turn off the mains (27 people now have no water til the plumber gets here tomorrow.)
