Pierre Gasly has now lost the point which he scored at the British Grand Prix. This comes on the heels of a post-race penalty which he was given due to a collision in which he had found himself with Sergio Perez.
Beating Perez to 10th position, Gasly went on to secure his third points finish so far in the season.
This however only came after he had a late-race contact through the Vale lefthander.
Unfortunately, after a review of the incident, Gasly was handed a five second penalty which then saw Perez win the final point.
Gladly was also dropped to 13th point and now trails behind Stoffel Vandoorne and Lance Stroll.
According to the stewards, Gasly's move was generally reasonable as he was only trying to make a good racing pass.
However, the stewards also agreed that he was to take the whole blame for the incidence after he hit the sausage kerb towards the apex of the Vale lefthander.
